Aplications are open for Rāngai Rangatahi 2025!

Have you always wanted to know what's going on behind the scenes at Zealandia? Not sure how to take action on the big stuff, like climate change and community wellbeing?

Rāngai Rangatahi is a free, youth-led programme for 14–18-year-olds in Wellington who care about the world around them and want to be part of the solution.

No experience needed—just curiosity, compassion, and believing that climate change is real.

Over the Term 2 and 3 school holidays, you'll:
🌱 connect with experts and explore topics like conservation, activism, rongoā, climate change, etc.
🌱 join a safe, welcoming space to learn and grow
🌱 build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills
🌱 take part in real-world environmental and social action
🌱 gain experience that looks great on a CV

Our term 2 holiday dates are Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th of July.
