Don’t sit on the fence

The Zealandia fence has protected vulnerable native wildlife in our capital city for over 25 years, and we need your help to ensure this protection continues.  

It takes a community of support to complete projects like the one we’re about to embark on, and we would love for you to be part of it by making a donation. 

We are only 25 years into our 500-year vision, but together we've already reversed the loss of native bird song from our city. Now, we have the chance to review the fence and make sure it continues protecting what was once lost. 

We’re in the early stages of planning the replacement of a small section of our fence. This project involves a lot of preparation to ensure the species inside the sanctuary remain safe while we work. 

This section replacement will form a pilot project to help us design a new prototype and will help us develop the complex biosecurity solutions needed to protect the wildlife inside the sanctuary.
