Tanglewood House - coming soon!

We are very excited that the building of Tanglewood House has finally begun. This long awaited project will compliment our existing buildings and provide Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne staff, volunteers, and researchers with a productive and fit-for-purpose work place. This project is proudly supported by the Tanglewood Foundation, as well as Wellington City Council.

The building has been designed to enhance and encourage collaboration, and will also provide us with break out areas where we can gather for staff and volunteer events and meetings.  

Kingsbury and Veitch, well respected builders in Wellington, estimate the total build time to be about 9 months so we hope to be in for Christmas 2023!
