Research into attitudes about pet cats
Researchers from Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington are looking into attitudes and views about domestic cats and cat ownership.
Cats are common family pets, however as predators they can be hardmful to native wildlife. The issue of cat ownership around urban reserves is a complex and sometimes controversial one. Researchers are interested in learning how views differ and why people feel the way they do.
If you are interested in participating in the survey you can do so by clicking on this link: http://vuw.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9NpoC2ulYxO9qLk
They are interested in getting as broad a range of perspectives as possible so please feel free to share with anyone you feel might be interested. The survey is not limited to users of the reserve or pet owners.
Results of the survey will be reported on the Zealandia website in March next year.
