What better way to spend the cold winter days than creating beautiful blooms for your whanau?

This Matariki mā Puanga season, Zealandia is celebrating Pōhutukawa, a special star in the cluster who carries those who have passed onto the heavens. Together with local artist and educator Margaret Tolland, we will be creating our own pōhutukawa blossoms to decorate our homes.

Materials are provided at these free events, and all ages are welcome.

Workshop held in the Visitor Centre foyer; General Admission to the sanctuary applies.

Parking at our overflow carpark on Birdwood Street is available as usual during the busy school holiday period.
