RĀNGAI RANGATAHI 2021

The 2021 Rāngai/Collective was selected in February. The group is a mix of 12 young people from across the Wellington region, some who took part in our 2020 start-up project and some getting involved for the first time.

They worked together to shape the programme for the year and to create opportunities to share their experiences with other young people.

START-UP PROJECT 2020

The Rāngai Rangatahi formed in October 2020 with a ‘start-up’ project.

Over four days members of the Rāngai/Collective created a visual identity, wrote the Collective kaupapa/purpose, which you see above, and they took part in a range of behind-the-scenes experiences, including sampling eDNA from Kawau lake, learning about tuatara with the Conservation team and creating colour responses to taiao/nature with a Designer.
