Talks go ahead rain or shine!
Number of participants will vary day to day. Please be aware when there is a large group it may not be as easy to hear everything the guide has to say, though we will do our best.

A 30 minute guided wander sharing the big picture with you – why we’re here and what we’re up to. A great way to start your visit.
Starts from: Heritage Area (close to main entrance gate)

A 45 minute guided exploration of the lower valley. Topics vary to fit the season and interests of those on the tour.
Starts from: Pontoon.
Allow 15 minutes to walk to the pontoon from the entrance.

Take a leisurely scenic boat ride across the lower lake or explore the Morning Star mine in the afternoon to see cave wētā up close!
